Bethesda Kitchen – Custom Rift White Oak Cabinets Designed & Installed for Kitchen & Laundry Room

This house is overlooking the Potomac River in Bethesda MD. The homeowner also runs an interior design studio, so they wanted a specific look for their custom kitchen cabinets which was beyond the ability of the cabinet line they initially selected. They turned to Legacy knowing that they needed a fully custom cabinetry company to achieve their end goals. The kitchen cabinets are a flush inset application with rift white oak slab doors. And the Laundry room cabinets are full overlay micro shaker doors also made of rift white oak. Both areas have a weathered texture to the doors and cabinets which adds more depth and texture to the grain of the wood. Legacy made custom samples specific for this project in order to verify the exact look the homeowners wanted. The homeowners were also set on having inset cabinets in the kitchen but did not want to see visible seems where cabinets butt together. Legacy combined cabinets into larger cabinets, more like furniture pieces. This achieved a more custom, streamlined look for the cabinets in this Bethesda kitchen project.
