Our Process

Bringing the Vision to Life

At Legacy Cabinetry & Design, we truly believe that kitchens are the most important room in the home. They are not only the place where meals are prepared but also where the seasons of life are shared with others. We also believe that kitchens set the design standard for the rest of the home. We listen closely during the design process to understand your needs and wishes, ensuring your kitchen perfectly blends beauty and functionality to meet your unique needs.

Here is our simple process for partnering on your project...

01. Introduction

Contact us via the inquiry page, and we will schedule a call to gather general information about your project and answer your questions.

02. Estimate

If you have plans with the dimensions of your space, we can give you an estimate from those. If not, we need you to send us measurements using our Measurement Guide. We also need all the photos of your existing space and surrounding rooms that you can send us. We will then send you an approximate estimate.

03. Engage

If the estimate suits your budget and you would like to move forward, we will send you an invoice for the cabinetry design deposit. This deposit is 5% to 10% (depending on project size) of the approximate estimate and will be applied toward your cabinetry investment. This deposit is non-refundable.

04. Connect

A collaborative meeting will be scheduled for you to come to our showroom to discuss the project's overall vision, layout, and cabinet style. We request that you send us all of your inspiration images before we meet, along with your general appliance selections.

05. Design

Legacy will then begin creating detailed drawings of your cabinetry, including measurements and multiple views of the cabinetry space. We will also supply a mood board with suggestions for the overall look and feel of your project.

06. Refine

We will receive your feedback and answer any questions regarding the design and layout of the cabinetry space. We will also need your appliance specifications prior to the completion of the final drawings. These conversations can be done via phone call, email, or an additional meeting at Legacy's showroom.

07. Approve

After we receive final approval from you for the cabinet style, colors, layout, and pricing, the final contract and drawings will be sent to you for review. We will then require a build phase deposit so we can put the cabinets into production.

08. Deliver

The cabinets will arrive blanket wrapped. Final payment is due upon delivery.
